I did NOT expect this one to smell as good as my favorite which is Club de Nuit Woman, but to my surprise, this has been added to my favorite list. Missing my old bottle of Platinum Egoiste, I decided to try this to see whether it would scratch that particular itch. Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application. For men who prefer a classic, understated fragrance that exudes warmth, Armaf Legasi is a woody aromatic with timeless appeal.

The opening was very CPE-esque but in the mid and dry down I found it to sweeten up a lot, with a candied licorice vibe. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates. But on skin, Legesi bursts out of the gate with a heroic amount of alcohol and rosemary, to be quickly followed up by an equally strong soapy combo of lavender and petitgrain. When the lady sprayed Legesi I was extremely wowed by it's beauty, so I purchased this and another fragrance.Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue is the perfect scent for men who want to feel confident, attractive, and irresistible. It does smell about 65% similar to Egoiste Platinum but might not be enough to replace it as a cheap alternative for those that are very familiar with Egoiste Platinum.

If you are under 20 I would say that it is a little dated, not in a bad way, but better for guys over 30. If you miss the old-school masculine frags of the 80s and 90s and wanted the same feel but with a modern soapy smoothness, I can't recommend this stuff enough. As I said, I just purchased Legesi so I haven't analyzed the notes as of yet, I was just enjoying the beautiful fragrance for now.
