About this deal

Replaced the HP OMEN 34c with the LG 35WN65C-B because it's cheaper, and renamed the Dell S3422DWG to 'Best Mid-Range Monitor' to better represent the monitor market. Its screen isn't quite as wide as the more common 49-inch monitors we have reviewed, but it may be easier to find room for in a home office or other place where space is at a premium.

You can edit, code and review, while enjoying the immersive and clear visual experience on a rich, vivid VA screen that's accurate at wide angles. It also has a lower 144Hz refresh rate, but it's still impressive for gaming thanks to its fast response time across its entire refresh rate range. The smallest we've seen is 24 inches (measured diagonally); most are 27 inches or larger, with clusters at 30, 34, 35, and 49 inches. Some users simply prefer the added screen space for showcasing more of their content, meaning you get more out of your 4K resolutions and other visual technologies, making for more interesting screen time. It has a few extra office features, like two USB-A ports, so you can connect your peripherals directly to the monitor, like a webcam or keyboard. This allows for monitoring of large amounts of footage for video editing, and numerous audio plugins and effects can be displayed at once. This combines with sRGB 99% Picture Mode, an incredibly accurate color gamut for creators, and 100Hz refresh rate for fast action, movement and motion. It has a 34-inch, 3440x1440 screen like the AW3423DW with the same 1800R curve, but the differences come down to their panel types and picture quality.

The E45c's screen isn't quite as wide as the more common 49-inch monitors we have reviewed, but its size is more manageable, particularly for home offices or other tight spaces. Also, I don't work in design, so can't really comment on whether or not this display is enough for manipulating sharp images. The E45c is a good replacement for a dual-QHD-monitor setup thanks to its virtual features that emulate twin displays. Added the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9/G95SC S49CG95 as the 'Best Super Ultrawide Gaming Monitor'; added the MSI MEG 342C QD-OLED and the Corsair XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 to Notable Mentions. Any device with HDMI, DP or DVI ports can be connected to the GN35DA and used with convenient split-screen viewing. With a response time of 5ms and a refresh rate of 100Hz, everything is displayed without delay, clearly and quickly. Apparently this issue is quite common - downstream USB-C worked for keyboard/mouse inputs, but not for video feed. Add in a terrific range of ports, and you have a near-perfect monitor for home offices and small businesses.
