Murads offer is less foamy and a tad more expensive, but both work equally well on my face in terms of cleansing and in terms of how my skin feels afterwards. I have combination skin (oily tzone) and this is perfect for a thorough cleanse without stripping my skin. They suggest wetting your face first, before pouring the Superfood Cleanser onto wet hands and rubbing it into a lather. Just looking at the ingredients list with panthenol, aloe vera and green tea, you can tell the focus here really is hydration!
However, I think I prefer this thicker texture to the liquid-type cleansers that just slide right off of your hands. Texture and scent did make me use it in the mornings preferably, but I also used it at night on no makeup days or as second cleanse. The non-drying formula means it WILL leave your skin feeling clean and fresh, but it doesn’t contain any exfoliating actives (like salicylic acid). You can usually find it right in the very first spot of the ingredient list, meaning it’s the biggest thing out of all the stuff that makes up the product. This daily green juice face cleanser is formulated with a proprietary superfood-extract blend of kale, spinach, and green tea. It works to remove makeup, prevent oil buildup in your pores and help your skin maintain a healthy pH level. I would try a small bottle of this before investing in the larger bottle, to see if it works with your skin type.A 'proof point' with a green tick means a third party has verified the accuracy of the statement whereas no green tick means that there isn't independent confirmation (yet! I think in the end it comes down to which brand you prefer and if you expect any added benefits from the Kale and Spinach extracts.
