About this deal

I think the paste application looks much better (but do note that I switched to the paste provided in the kit and it's more viscous / dry). I had a single EKWB 360 rad on a 13700K (custom loop) and that worked really well, so it should definitely be able to cool your 12700K. EK al

It has pre-set up bolstered and sleeved rubber tubing, every equipped with an aluminum cowl to make certain they’re ultra-durable. EK Vardar S 120ER D-RGB fans included with the EK-AIO have quite an industrial looking appearance to them, with a robust and completely square outer frame, seven opaque white blades that are illuminated with RGB lighting once powered up and a rather large central hub. It looks like the EK cold-plate is applying little to no pressure on the chip - see how the paste seems very thick on the right side of the cold-plate? A flat surface combined with an alternating ‘X-pattern’ seating of the mounting hardware should provide for a uniform thermal compound mounting patch when we remove the pump from the CPU’s integrated heat spreader (IHS).It is a very understated design featuring a completely plain black coating with no sign of any branding or logos in sight. Of course, the cooler can operate with only three fans like a typical AIO, but then we ask, why would you spend extra for three more fans? EK-Vardar High-Performance Fans - The EK-Vardar S included with the EK AIO are industrial grade high-static PWM fans, designed and built primarily for high-performance liquid cooling systems.

At the CPU block side, there are 90-degree articulating fittings to aid installation and positioning, the tubing is manufactured from highly durable and reinforced rubber allowing them to be flexible but also resistant to kinks. Yeah, the product seems defective, but the pump works (I can hear it whining) and the reported speed is as specified (~3300 rpm). While the radiator is aluminium rather than copper, it has a lot more heft to it than I expected for even a 360 mm offering. While being completely silent in operation, the pump still seems to have the power to provide high-performance cooling on thermally demanding CPUs such as the Intel Core i9-9900K that is equipped to our test bench. The EK AIO Elite comes with a universally compatible CPU water-block, along with a pre-filled pump-res combo design for a liquid cooling solution that’s ready to go straight out of the box.

Barring some astounding different in performance between a three fan setup compared to six, I'd prefer to see them take the cost of three fans off and sell the unit as is or as mentioned, maybe with a thicker radiator. Also check out eTeknix YouTube, where you'll find our latest video reviews, event coverage and features in 4K! A sizeable pump housing indicates the quality of the pump that promises durability alongside smooth and quiet operation.Watching my temps compared to the other cooler I have been seeing a 5-10 degree difference so it definitely cools better and is way quieter than the kraken. The build quality of the EK-AIO seems to be of a very high standard, although only time will tell if our impressions are correct. Next, we just need to use the four large black thumbscrews and tighten down the CPU block evenly using an X shape pattern to distribute pressure over the CPU IHS for optimal contact. Zusätzlicher Hinweis: Habe den Artikel ein weiteres Mal kurz nach Defekt des ersten bestellt, dort lief die Pumpe knapp eine Woche ohne Probleme, bis das gleiche Probleme wieder einsetzte. GHz all core at ~250W that was initially cooled using an old (5yrs+) Corsair H105 240mm 2 fan AIO (with slightly damaged radiator fins).
