This is one of those books that is terribly difficult to describe and boiling it down to its basic plot (cheerleader camp! Not only is she easy, but she’s also mean—she has “a handful of snow for a heart,” she cheats on all of her boyfriends, etc.

She understands the thought processes and pressures of these characters and if her books aren't set in the teen/childhood years most of the characters problems stem from those times in the character's life.
