[1] Chapters [ ] Alaster and Thomas find out how to remove the Chimera demons from the bodies of the Silent Brothers/Iron Sisters. i liked grace’s development in this, and while i’m still not her biggest fan, i get why she is the way she is — and her guilt was done so realistically imo. i like the way she was the one who told cordelia about her manipulating james into feeling “things” for her, cause i know james would’ve never told cordelia himself and they’d always be in that limbo state, with cordelia never being able to trust james, had grace not done that — so i love her a little only for that. and i’m sad that she’s never gonna know the love of christopher either anymore 😔 i know a lot of people would’ve preferred her staying the villain but idk, i liked the added complexity to her character and her motivations just made sense. so i didn’t exactly like her but i don’t hate her either, anymore. (i am in no way saying i condoned what she did to james cause that was terrible — but i got why she did.) That’s because Cassandra Clare doesn’t want us to know what Matthew is thinking. Matthew is thinking stuff that Cassie doesn’t want us to know.
