About this deal

The Hollyland Lark M1 is more than just a wireless microphone system. It’s an all-in-one solution for those who are serious about their audio. Its HearClear noise cancellation feature, combined with its wide compatibility and impressive transmission distance, puts it head and shoulders above many other devices in the market. Whether you’re a seasoned vlogger or just starting your audio journey, the Hollyland Lark M1 is an excellent choice for enhancing your sound recording experience.

A single blue or green solid light on the transmitters shows that the unit is connected to the receiver; if this light is flashing, it means it hasn’t connected. Through the test, the auto connection process worked every time, so there was no need for a manual pairing, but the process is relatively straightforward if it does need to be done.

Hollyland Lark M1 Bluetooth Lavalier Microphone Installation Instruction

The Lark M1 wireless lavalier mic is a 3-level volume preset device that gives you the freedom to take your music anywhere. With a 650ft (200m) long wireless distance, you can enjoy your music indoors or outdoors without worrying about cords getting in the way.

Aside from the audio quality, the two other aspects that stood out were noise interference. The 2.4GHz channel hopping seemed to do the job; even with mobile phones on and receiving texts, there was no interference. The second quality test was the working distance, which Hollyland state is up to 200m. This 200m is clear sight, and that distance dramatically reduces once a wall or floor is placed between the transmitter and the receiver. Still, the quality and transmission between units were excellent, and there were no issues with an audio break-up to a distance of around 100m clear distance with only a slight break-up from 150-200m. The LarkM1’s transmitter can broadcast a clear clean signal from a distance without drop out (as you’ll see/hear from our supporting video). (Image credit: George Cairns / Digital Camera World)

The receiver is nice and simple, with a 3.5mm audio out that links directly into your camera. There is no on-device audio monitoring, so headphones must be plugged directly into your camera. The Lark M1 affordable wireless lavalier microphone is also capable of recording crystal-clear audio at a long transmission distance of up to 650ft (200m). All these features make the Lark M1 ideal for use in portable applications, such as on-location video shoots. Hollyland Lark M1 vs. Lark 150
