I really like what this expansion brings to the base game as it forces you to think about your clues in a different way, rather than just simply coming up with synonyms for your words, for example. This game is so much fun, makes you think and gets much harder as you keep playing as you are trying to outwit your opponents. The opposing team takes records of the whole exchange so now they know word 4 has something to do with sand, word 1 has something to do with scooting, etc. Now, the other team gives clues for their set of words, and the guesses are scored in the same manner.

One element which does really help you understand clues and the game structure is playing with people and group that you are familiar with, knowing the individual’s think patterns and ways of working, as you may then understand more of the abstract clues, but the game is equally, if not more, fun playing with people you have never met – trying to deduce the meaning being the clue.At the beginning of the round, a player from each team picks a card with the 3 digit code and gives clues to help their teammates figure out the number before the non-proverbial and completely literal sand timer runs out.
