About this deal

another thing is that this is my first actual boss pedal, ive always wanted one and finally got it after getting it on reverb. Tracing its roots back to the late 80's, this is one of the most popular and best-selling chorus pedals in the market today and has been in production for over 30 years!

A great Chorus pedal has to not only duplicate the sound of your guitar, making slight alterations to the duplicate signal, but it must also successfully balance the treble, bass, and mid-tones while adding some measure of vibrato. The BOSS CH1 Super Chorus enables brilliant, clear sounds thanks to its EQ controller, but other, softer settings are of course possible. Sure; companies like Empress, Strymon, and Earthquaker all make extraordinary pedals, but this is definitely another example of why Boss STILL commands respect in the world of guitar effects. On account of a buffer’s ability to drive long cable runs and provide silent switching, Boss remains resolutely in the buffered camp. The CH-1 SUPER Chorus delivers a clean, classic sound with crystal-clear highs and a unique stereo effect, variable between left and right speakers if you use the stereo outputs. Three years later, this inventive new sound was squeezed into the blue CE-2 Chorus, and chorus pedals have remained in the compact lineup ever since. If I am 100% honest, I haven’t found this an issue but I guess if you only wanted a subtle chorus sound then you can’t turn down the effect. This lets you create any kind of chorus effect from a mild, natural chorus to the clear and penetrating stereo chorus effect popular in contemporary music.

When you adjust the rate (or delay time) it makes the repeats occur closer together or farther apart. My best friend has had one of these for many years, so I knew what it sounded like; but of course I didn't bother to check his settings. And to me, the simple control layout is very freeing, making it easy to find a good sound and stay there. The Boss CH1 Super Chorus features sharp sounds with clear highs, and a stereo effect that varies depending on the spacing between the left and right speakers. If you're looking for a standard, no-frills yet highly tweakable stereo chorus pedal, the CH-1 is a reliable and versatile option.

When you increase the depth, it increases the intensity of the effect, making it sound as if there are more of the same instrument. BOSS Chorus Pedals are loved by guitarists for their distinctive dreamy tone that is great for fattening up clean sounds, making solo tones sing and rhythm tones sound huge. Two channel output jacks are available allowing for deep, sweeping, stereo chorus effects with the space synthesis system.

The CE-2w Waza Craft is handmade in Japan and features an updated CE-2 circuit as well as the chorus and vibrato modes from the original CE-1. Boss are so sure their compact pedals last the test of time, they cover them with a full five year warranty. If you have questions about operating your BOSS product, please check our Knowledge Base for answers to the most common questions. The Boss CH-1 Super Chorus is a great all-purpose chorus pedal thanks to it super clean and clear tone and wide frequency range. Once you hear what a great chorus pedal does to your tone, you'll instantly recognize it from its eternal presence in contemporary music. This controls how fast the chorus goes, and the knob on the right is the depth control, this control how deep the chorus goes. With great sounding chorus, stereo outputs and great controls allowing you to create a wide range of chorus sounds, the Boss CE-5 Chorus Ensemble is the ultimate chorus pedal when it comes to Boss compact effects pedals.
