Versatile – single use toys have no use in my treatment room or in my house. Toys cause enough clutter, so finding a toy that can be used for multiple activities is key. Using a balance beam to walk and pull squigz as they make their way to the end ( balance, reciprocal movement) Challenge kids to weave their toys in and out of the obstacles – great for visual motor integration! In fact, if the Squigz species was given a scientific name, it would most certainly be called Suctionus Constructionus.) Made of nothing but high quality silicone and never leaving a single trace of residue, Squigz is a brilliant and safe building toy that launches creative thinking beyond the limits of traditional construction.

I’ve never seen anything like that before’ but with Squigz, that is exactly what I thought when we received a Starter Set for review. But now, it's not just the limbs that connect - Their newly designed centers connect, too! Plus, wild curves add a clever new twist of character creativity.Their bright colours are attractive and they are very tactile so I can see them appealing to people of all ages. They’re suitable from age 3 upwards and I can even imagine adults using them as stress relievers; they are very satisfying to play with. Use them to practice letter construction by placing one of the Squigz on the marker board as a starting point, indicating where to start forming each letter. I am using the Squigz to encourage the use of two-handed play. The nature of pulling the Squigz apart from one another utilizes both hands at the same time developing strength and coordination. These are a cinch to clean, whether you toss them in the dishwasher or simply leave them on a towel to dry after bath time. Price: Worth it Helping kids using muscle memory to know the start and end point practicing letter formation ( top to bottom) as well as shapes and number
Includes 36 pieces - 5 green Blips, 4 yellow Veeps, 2 small pink Mimzys, 2 orange Forberts, 3 light green Chazes, 3 blue Tripzops, 3 red Deans, 5 long pink Glipitys, 5 light blue Mips, 4 purple Bubzles Most of the Squigz pieces are large enough to not pose a choking hazard but there are a few smaller ones that land the toy an age range of 3 and up. This set also requires a good amount of hand strength and fine motor skills to connect and disconnect the pieces, so a younger child may grow frustrated with them. The Squigz Starter Set is fun, durable, simple, and educational. We think it makes a great addition to any playroom. We've only had Squigz for a week or so, so I don't have a lot of suggestions, but he seems to enjoy they way that they feel and look and he likes playing with them, with some help. They are easy for him to play with!
