About this deal

This year I decided there should be no crime novels or Contemporaries, why not something futuristic, with a female protagonist and a bit of romance? Well what should it be? After a long search, a trilogy and some excerpts later - I found „Sky 's End" at GoodReads. Conrad is a really solid MC and he is a refreshing step up from the saturation of childish and petulant MC in the YA genre right now. Conrad is young and he makes mistakes, plenty of them (which was welcome to see as there’s nothing more off putting than a dauntless MC who magically always makes the right decisions), but through these missteps he learns and he grows. While there is an element of this being a classic ‘coming of age’ tale, I think there’s enough here to make Sky’s End more than that. For Sky Broadband and Talk products, the final amount is rounded up to the nearest 25p. How are early termination charges calculated? I have this to say, though, the writing got much better as the book progressed, so don't let those examples stop you from reading it. Thank you Marc J Gregson, NetGalley and Peachtree Teen, for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review! All thoughts are my own and left voluntarily.

That being said, the second Conrad leaves his home island, I was hooked. I really loved the little rag tag group that became a family in the end. I like that there are full character arcs of learning to bond with people you didn't think you could and all those lessons. Could they have been deeper? Sure. But for a book marketed towards teens it was perfectly fine. I would have loved this book so much at that age.The Thell ‘eon horde is an interesting dynamic. Where things may make perfect sense to them, that isn’t always the case for someone not familiar. Additionally, we see them all making some adjustments to help Cassiel fit in. I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with these guys…mostly because of the way they treated Cassiel at times. I liked seeing the change in Or’ic just after the Candidacy and definitely appreciate what he did at the end of the book for Cassiel. I will be interested to see what happens next for the horde as well as between Cassiel and Or’ic considering how the rest of the story progressed.

Plummet into a kill-or-be-killed competition where a scrappy underdog hell-bent on revenge must claw his way to the top in this thrilling YA fantasy debut Sky's tribunal appeal will seek to contend that Sky TV is not a public ECS because it does not consist 'wholly or mainly' in the conveyance of signals. Private renters are younger than those in other tenures. In 2020 to 2021, those aged 16 to 34 accounted for 43.5% of private renters in England, with 25 to 34-year-olds the most common age group of private renters at 31%.If your services end before the end of your contract (minimum term), you may have to pay an early termination charge(s) What was weird and definitely Mary Sue-ish is how every male (human or alien) Cassiel meets is enamoured with her. She's everyone's object of desire. What's most desirable about her? Her virginal innocence. I mean... I mean, really. There was enough writing talent here to preclude the need for this... whatever this is. A Sky spokesperson said the company had recently signed an extension with its satellite provider to keep the service on air for the next decade, while customers are still welcome to sign up to Sky to use its Sky Q satellite box.

Exiled to live as a Low, sixteen-year-old Conrad refuses to become heir to his murderous uncle. But Meritocracy is a harsh and unforgiving rule on the floating island of Holmstead, and when his ailing mother is killed by monstrous gorgantauns, Conrad cuts a deal to save the only family he has left. To rescue his sister from his uncle’s clutches, Conrad must enter the Selection of the Twelve Trades. Cassiel Winters is one of few women training to be a part of the ESE (Earth Space Exploration), an agency dedicated to space travel, discovery, and protection of Earth. After failing her combat test for the first time, Cassiel is about to get a second chance. However, she didn’t join the ESE and move up to space to live in a space station for nothing. Cassiel’s brother has gone missing on a secret mission for the ESE, and she is determined to find out what happened to him. But she also has a secret; she has episodes called deju vu, where she has visions of things that have happened and things that are soon to happen. Nobody can know about her talent, or who knows what they’d do to her. Following discussions with Sky, we accept that there is a genuine difference of opinion as to the legal interpretation and scope of the term ‘electronic communications service’. We have therefore decided to open an investigation (PDF, 307.4 KB) to examine whether there are reasonable grounds to believe that Sky has failed to comply with its obligations under C1.10. The other characters are varied, there are human and many types of alien. The other characters are ESE crew and Thell'eons mainly. Lt Damian King did not give me a good feeling from the start, although he is supposed to be one of the good guys, he does not give me a good feeling and his behavior throughout the book is very rare. I hope in the next book Cassiel change her mind ... What can I say about the Thell'eons? .... They are the sexiest aliens in the whole universe. They have the perfect human constitution, super sexy and really hot. Or'ic is the Prime and I really like him but I do not know why I rather prefer Kell'an, it must be the green eyes.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for an advanced reader's copy in exchange for my honest review.
