About this deal

Tarot gives you something tangible to help you access something intangible. This makes it feel less like you’re stumbling in the dark. Visualize that you are releasing stress and distractions. You may meditate by visualizing a specific card or a character from a particular card. Let’s say I am doing a reading for a client who I have come to like working with. Challenging cards emerge, the Tower and Three of Swords. If I rely only on my personal level of intuition, I may unintentionally also project my hopes onto the situation. Once you understand what a spiritual awakening is, knowing what to look for is the next most important step in your journey to enlightenment. In this section, we will be breaking down some of the most common signs that you may encounter when beginning your spiritual awakening. Hyper Sensitivity & Heightened Awareness For most of us, intuition is pushed out of us by society. This was definitely true for me. I put a high value on doing well in school. That means, I put effort into valuing what I thought but not how I felt.

The biggest barrier for me, when it came to trust my own intuition, was giving credence to a subtle source of information. Set the intention: Before beginning a reading, take a few moments to set a clear and specific intention for what you would like guidance on. This could be a specific question or a broad theme you want to explore. In essence, a spiritual awakening is a profound awakening of the soul to a deeper and more profound reality. It can be a life-altering experience that brings a sense of purpose, clarity, and fulfillment. While it may be triggered by various factors and experienced differently by each individual, its core elements involve a shift in perception, an expanded consciousness, and a deep connection to the spiritual or transcendent aspects of existence. It’s a journey that takes one from a limited perspective to a more expansive, enlightened view of the self and the world. Making and looking at art is a natural way to awaken your intuition. In this process, your emotions and subconscious are engaged. You are entering the world of symbol, color, meaning, and interpretation. The Minor Arcana consists of 56 cards, which are divided into four suits: Cups, Swords, Wands, and Pentacles. Each suit corresponds to a different aspect of life, such as emotions (Cups), thoughts and beliefs (Swords), passion and creativity (Wands), and material abundance (Pentacles). The Minor Arcana cards offer insights into everyday situations and provide guidance on how to navigate challenges and harness opportunities.

With intuition, the effort is more about being receptive. If you put effort into anything it should be practice and rigorous self-honesty. The “realness” of these intuitive impressions or psychic experiences can range from vague to clear as if in a dream. Just because an impression seems vague doesn’t mean it isn’t accurate. Yet that is what we assume oftentimes.

Yet when it comes to prediction and reading for others, our personal intuition can get entangled with our thoughts, feelings and beliefs. If you catch yourself trying to guess the card, stop and redirect your focus. It is not about guessing but about sensing.

Your values and priorities may undergo a significant transformation. Materialism and external success may become less important, while compassion, inner peace, and the pursuit of higher wisdom take precedence. What causes a spiritual awakening? Tarot quiets the mind so that our intuitive voice can emerge, carrying the truth and wisdom we possess inside of us. As long as our minds remain busy and over-stimulated, we are blind to the deeper truth. But with a relaxed and quiet mind, we can discover our inner truth like a long-lost treasure buried inside us.

It is a paradox that both duality and non-duality are ‘real’.

We are all intuitive. I have come to understand this is a birthright and not a special gift only some people have. Sure, some people open up to it easier than others, but that is the case with many things. The journey of awakening often begins with a subtle yet persistent inner call. Individuals start to recognize a yearning for something beyond the material world, a sense that there must be more to life than meets the eye. This initial stage may be marked by a growing dissatisfaction with the status quo, a feeling that the conventional pursuits of success, wealth, or societal approval fall short in providing lasting fulfillment. It’s a time when profound questions about the purpose and meaning of life start to emerge, setting the stage for a deeper exploration. Stage 2: The Initiation Even if you don’t see them or know their names, your state of mind after meditating will make you more receptive to their energies. Yet if I open up to Spiritual Guidance through guides and directly intending to be led by Spirit, then my own ego is put further out of the way. A spiritual awakening often involves a transcendence of the ego, the part of the self that is tied to identity, desires, and attachments. This doesn’t mean losing one’s individuality, but rather gaining a deeper understanding of the self beyond the confines of ego-driven desires and fears.

The Major Arcana consists of 22 cards, which represent major life lessons and spiritual themes. These cards include iconic images such as The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess, The Empress, The Emperor, and The World. Each card in the Major Arcana carries a specific message and energy that can guide the user towards personal growth and self-realization. This used to be the case for me. But one of the biggest things I learned was that trying really hard doesn’t help. You may find yourself caught up in how enlightened you feel, even if you can’t put your finger on what you are experiencing, which can lead you to judge others more harshly than ever before. Disconnection

Think of Tarot like mini portraits of scenes and people. They are a highly artistic form of accessing your intuition. This can bring you comfort and silence your logical mind. Draw just one card per day, preferably at the start of the day. Consider the themes that the card represents and how it relates to your life. I recommend getting a journal and jotting down a few sentences for each day’s draw. Don’t think too hard; let your intuition come to you. There’s always a message to learn every time you draw a card. It’s usually simple and infused with your heart’s wisdom. It’s a realization that the ego is just one aspect of who we are. Many individuals who experience a spiritual awakening report a profound sense of connection to something greater than themselves. This can take the form of feeling connected to a higher power, the universe, or a collective consciousness. This connection often brings a deep sense of peace, purpose, and love.
