About this deal

Ready to direct the action? This LEGO® Jurassic Park T. rex Breakout build-and-display model (76956) is as worthy of repeat viewing as the epic Jurassic Park movie scene that inspired it. It features a posable T. rex figure stomping on a flipped, crushed Ford Explorer, a second Ford Explorer and a smashed ‘electric’ fence. Recreate the drama with Alan Grant, Ian Malcolm, Tim Murphy and Lex Murphy minifigures, buildable night-vision goggles, a flare and 2 water glass elements, plus many other references to the famous scene. Four characters are included in 76956 T. rex Breakout and they are each exclusive to the set, and lovingly designed to reflect the sheer chaos of the scene they are involved in. Lex and Tim Murphy are suitably terrified and covered in mud, while Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ian Malcolm are both drenched through from the rain. In addition to consultations with the consultee listed, we will publicise the application in accordance with national requirements and our local policy. For me, the highlight of the set has been a long-time coming. LEGO Jurassic Park/World fans have for years been clamouring for the iconic Jurassic Park Ford Explorers, and we FINALLY get them in minifigure-scale, and they do not disappoint in the slightest!

Our light kit features 18 individual LEDs. Including a pair of our Rotating Bit Lights and a pair of Flashing White Bit Lights, all action components to sound the alarm and take your LEGO display to the next cinematic level. Despite being a display model, it’s really quite playable, and because the diorama is so large, you’re encouraged to set the scene up as you like, and there are tons of fantastic angles that you can appreciate. Here’s a look at the top, with the transparent sunroof, and the bonnet, which has more of the dark red stripes, and the Jurassic Park logo.

Another great bit of detail that anchors this set to the film are these large modules (complete with reference stills) featuring iconic quotes and references captured as you build the set. Alan Grant, has his red scarf, tan hat, and very wet clothes, which are slightly dishevelled which is a really nice touch by the graphic designer Casper Glahder. They both carry flares to distract the T.Rex. This is one of the best-designed LEGO instruction manuals yet, and I really love the lush greenery and Jurassic Park logo plastered out on the front. Welcome to LEGO sets for adults – a zone of zen for hands-on DIY projects. From movie magic to the wonders of the world, pop culture icons and more, there is a LEGO set waiting for you.

Within:, SSSI 5KM Buffer in NorthDevon, consider need for AQIA if proposal is for anaerobic digester without combustion plantThe set features 4 minifigures and although each of the characters has appeared in other Jurassic Park inspired sets, these versions are all unique to this set. Lex and Tim are great versions of the characters, with the print detail showing off their mud-covered clothing. They also each have a different coloured arm, which is such a simple yet cool little touch. The same mistake made with the Velociraptor Chase has been made again with this set, once again giving Lex the fixed short legs. These make them the same size as the much younger Tim. A pair of slightly longer and moveable short legs would easily fix this. Keepability [5]– This set is an instant classic, and is one of the best LEGO Jurassic Park/World sets ever Ian Malcolm is a fan favourite, and is attired in his signature leather blazer, and also exposing parts of his chest. The printing colour is a little off, and doesn’t quite match the colour of his head, unfortunately, but other than that small flaw, it’s a great depiction of Ian Malcolm. It has right details, such as the number 4 on it, and with the right spare parts, you should be able to turn this into a proper Ford Explorer if you’d like.

The warning and hazard signs – love that they use a minifigure hand for the 10,000 volts high voltage sign. All the various elements combine together to create a unique set, which is far more displayable than a playset. Although it feels more of the latter than the similar Star Wars Dioramas do. The different elements do come together nicely but I would have preferred it if they were a little more securely held in place. The way parts of the build spill over the edges, give the scene more of a visual impact but does increase the diorama’s footprint and therefore the area in which it can be displayed. Despite the slight niggles as a massive fan of the original Jurassic Park films, being able to build a slice of my childhood was delightful and the set has whet my appetite for more Jurassic Park scene dioramas. Dr Alan Grant has a similar design to his past versions but has a rain-soaked shirt and muddy trousers. He can also swap out his famous hat for a hairpiece. Dr Ian Malcolm hasn’t got as dirty as the others but has a little bit of dampness on this slightly opened shirt. Unfortunately, the cowardly lawyer Gennaro hasn’t been included. This is the perfect set to have finally featured this fan-favourite character. For aspects such as the two (or rather, one-and-a-half) Ford Explorers, that is very much true to say. We have been waiting a long time to build an official LEGO version of this vehicle and what is before us in 76956 T. rex Breakout does not disappoint. Hilariously, and to boost the displayability, there’s also a printed LEGO Jurassic plaque, as well as a printed tile with Ian Malcolm’s “Boy, do I hate being right all the time”.Here’s a comparison with a LEGO T.Rex, and you can see that the designers definitely wanted to keep within the same scale, which makes sense. This collectible model makes a super treat for yourself or a gift for other adult Jurassic Park fans and experienced dinosaur-loving LEGO builders. It comes with step-by-step instructions, so you can relax and enjoy your nostalgic creative journey. Alan, meanwhile, strikes a pose with his signal flare in front of Explorer 5. Ian can be seen looking on in a pretty good rendition of abject terror. Designer insight: According to Atticus, two of the biggest challenges were designing a foot that would let it stand on its own and not have to be supported by anything else, and also trying to capture the shape of the T-Rex head as best you could at that scale. While they could have perhaps benefitted from following the wider Speed Championswheelbase to allow for a better-proportioned final build (which you’ll notice from front-on viewing), everything otherwise in shaping, colour and all-round design perfectly recreates this iconic vehicle, one time in complete, upright form, and a second time upside down and crushed into the mud by the T. rex.
