About this deal

If you're not comfortable raising a complaint directly or do not feel you've had a satisfactory response, you can complain to the NHS. Other services I do think it does *something* (and that's maybe the best way to say it) -- I'll let you decide if you can figure out what you think that *something* is.

Though I believe I know who G truly is given the clues we have in the book’s description and the book itself, I do wish we learned more about G before he fell into that river. We’re often told his actions earned him his scars, but we don’t truly discover what those actions were. However, I enjoyed the ending and a part of me is hoping in a potential sequel. You can call any GP surgery to get emergency treatment for up to 14 days if you're not registered with a GP surgery or are away from home. Om drama- h is technically engaged to a fae royal but shes not interested. He kisses her hand and feeds her. She ran away and doesnt wanna marry him.The other day I was modeling for a figure drawing class, and brought G. along to read during my breaks. The instructor of the class asked what book I had. I said G., a novel by Jon Berger. A slightly confused look on his face. Oh, he said, he was familiar with Berger's art criticism but didn't realize the man wrote novels. An unusual read and very post modern. G as a character is at times brilliant and mad. Born to a wealthy American woman who was the mistress of a Livorno candied merchant. She immediately abandons the child to her cousins in the English countryside where G is introduced to sex by Beatrice his cousin. The central character is the English-Italian G, and if Berger explained why he doesn’t have a proper name, I missed it. At first I thought it might be an allusion to Giuseppe Garibaldi, the Italian hero who led the movement to unify Italy, because G (via British Foreign Office machinations) gets mixed up in the irredentist position of Trieste, an Italian seaport that was under the control of Austria at the outbreak of World War I and not formally annexed to Italy until 1920. Following this line of thought I remembered that Giuseppe is an Italian variant of the Hebrew name Joseph (Son of Jacob, the one with the many-coloured coat) because the name means ‘one who enlarges’ – but it all seems a bit tenuous because G is more of a Don Juan than a proper spy. If he was a spy at all. So now I think he’s called G because Berger just wanted him to be enigmatic. G and Charlie had so much hilarious (and sexy) banter throughout that kept me more than entertained, and really had me anticipating and enjoying their intimate moments all the more. While Charlie has a big heart she also has a big stubborn streak, so she’s more than up to the challenge of verbally sparring with him!

Didn't feel any magic but i attribute that to me being in a lowkey reading slump and the fact i started this on a heels of a dnf that really pissed me off. So i hope to reread this sometime and feel the magic that i think it has the potential to give me. Once you pass your eye and knowledge tests, you get a G1 licence. I love Lily Archer's works, and she didn't disappoint in her newest release of The Book of G. Starting with a mysterious introduction to our main character G, who has no memories of who he used to be and how he was severely wounded, I was instantly drawn in and wanting to know more. Each character that was introduced was more than just a move to further the plot; they were insights into a world that was both the same and different from our own.
