About this deal

I've been wanting GTA games on Switch since the system first came out so I'm super excited for this! Especially since I haven't played the older GTA games! I'll stand by what I said before in that these remasters could and should have been much better but I've still had a good time with them so far duffmmann your alone they are all different games with different characters, locales, and even time periods. So how would they all be part of GTA 3 as a whole? This is truthfully getting super embarrassing at this point. If I was in charge of these games I'd be super ashamed of myself, to be honest. What a mess. I'm likely still going to wait and see what's on the physical edition next month because I do want this, so I'm hoping they can alleviate some of this migraine before then.

Sad and all they had to do was just port the PS3 versions. These definitive remasters shouldn't even be on Switch. I would be okay with just a straight port, as long as it's not buggy I'll bite. You're kinda wrong. There is videos showing that there is massive input lags that actually make the game unplayable because you keep crashing into things due to the input lag and unable to hit any targets using manual aim. Pop ins when cars/people literally pop into the game right in front of you only for you to crash into them. Failing missions due to lag is also what I have seen. Whatever you think about the visual design choices they have made, fundamentally these are still the same games they always were and the worst things they have done is call them the definitive edition and have such a high price point for minimal effortThis would be amazing if true! Would love the chance to experience all these games on a Nintendo system and portably at that. See, this is why developers shouldn't be rushing games out the door with the mindset that they can always be patched later. Even if patches do turn the game into the something good, its reputation has already been forever ruined beforehand. Did they fix the graphical models they broke by just auto-smoothing everything? Like that Nuts and bolts gag they turned into a donut? Bought GTA, London and Expansion, GTA2, GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas recently for about 30 Euros.

So a typical problem with porting games to the Switch and its outdated hardware. Playing here on PS5 on performance mode and its the best playing and looking version of Vice City and I've played em all. DumbElder being as you are already predisposed to not like these games why bother commenting in the first place? You speak as someone who has clearly never played the games due to your snobbish attitude, so just keep scrolling. Once again, as of patch 1.06, most of these issues have been improved, if not fixed entirely. The draw distance is better, the pop-in is nowhere near as bad, and the materialising cars, although still very much present, at least have the decency to appear out of nowhere slightly further down the road. Edit: LOL, I just read this game is now the lowest rated game ever in metacritic, based on the user score. Of course, user scores aren't really worth anything, but it's still quite an achievement from a gta title They're definitely in a playable state now and I can recommend to anyone interested. Albeit with the understanding they should have been even better.

It's a disappointing product for sure, and they're probably due some heavy patching, but these parts of the review didn't sync with my own experience or seemingly with any other reviewer.
