About this deal

Ah yeah, I think the hardware only supports 2 simultaneous outputs :( I never got all 3 to work at the same time. Dell promises that the D6000 can output at three 4K displays over USB-C, with one running at 30 Hz (or a single 5K monitor, though we weren't able to test that), or two monitors over USB 3. NOTE: For optimal performance, Dell recommends updating the BIOS and Chipset driver on your PC before installing the DisplayLink driver for the docking station. Enjoy universal compatibility with a wide range of PC brands and operating systems, supported by DisplayLink technology. If you are unable to provide the insured product at point of claim for inspection it will be classed as lost and not covered.

The universal docking solution enables multiple displays, audio, ethernet and other USB peripherals to be connected to PCs through USB. Please do not use the `Remember me` option if using a computer with public access or that is used by more than one person. USB-C connectivity makes it easier than ever to deliver power, data, audio and video in one convenient cable, no matter what system you use. NOTE: Video is not available outside the operating system or in a pre-boot environment such as the BIOS.Whether you're at your desk or in a shared workspace, you can easily connect to displays, a mouse, keyboard and audio devices from your compatible system of choice.

Designed to be the most universal docking station in Dell range, catering for both laptops with USB 3.Your feedback is important to us, your review about this product will be revised by our experts and will be published within 5 working days. A single USB-C cable connection allows you to transfer audio, video, data and power - enabling a fast and convenient docking experience. The experience was the smoothest sailing with my everyday Dell XPS 15, but even that didn't work perfectly as advertised.

Over Type-C, it connected to two DisplayPort monitors at the full 3840 x 2160, but the third, HDMI monitor ran at only 1080p and 60 Hz, with no obvious way to adjust it. Yes, the Dell Universal Dock D6000 has a media access control (MAC) identifier that can be passed through for network identification. Dell's new dock has an interesting innovation to make it compatible with both USB Type-C and old-fashioned USB 3. Note that I only seem to be getting 144Hz on the monitor with the DP connection even though all three of my monitors are 144Hz.Also, due to certain PC manufacturer’s designs, there may be limited or no functionality for video, USB, and so on. To be fair, this unit doesn't get as warm as the Dell unit does (neither get hot, but the Dell does get a bit warm to the touch). Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. The DisplayLink solution offered with the Dell Universal Dock D6000 is a "USB Graphic" solution which involves software compression. You’ll be able to connect up to three 4K displays and charge a USB-C laptop up to 65W simultaneously.
