For wireless communications there is 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support. There is an optional module (sold separately) for 4G LTE for Nano-SIM cards. In our fan noise and temperature tests we ran Cinebench for 10 minutes at the default 28W TDP and measured them both. We got a highest temperature of 63 degrees and highest fan noise at 63 dB.

Detach the spacebar keycap (find tutorial on YT for laptop keyboards in general, the principle is the same) - be very careful! Why does the 2TB model lag a little behind? We think the SSD may be using more PCIe lanes and drawing some power away from the processor and graphics resulting in slightly slower performance.
Upon your next boot, you'll have the Windows HD audio drivers installed instead of the Senary drivers. Below are the system benchmark comparisons for 30W TDP. You can see on PassMark that the faster 2TB makes a difference in the score as it includes disk performance tests, But the 2TB model does fall behind in the other tests. The two 1TB models have very similar scores across the other tests. Fallout 4, Skyrim (enhanced edition), Prey, Far Cry 5 and the more recently released Outer Worlds. All have worked great when you find their sweet spot and 60fps low to medium settings is not out of the question. Test all keyboard keys (A lot of people are having issues with missed inputs) If you're having issues, try putting tape under the keycap Make sure screen is glued correctly (Some dude could see into his unit through a gap in the upper half of the screen lmao)

Do a full scan for malware with Microsoft defender. It should catch whatever worm or virus if any. Or just reinstall OS if you aren't lazy like me. As expected everything we tried works great on PlayStation 2. You can lower the TDP and/or increase the screen rendering for higher quality visuals. You should not have any issues at all with PS2. Powering the GPD WIN MAX 2 is a 67Wh Li-polymer battery providing up to 14 hours of light use, 6-8 hours moderate use and 3 hours of heavy use. In our own tests on the handheld we ran Cinebench on full load at maximum brightness and got 2 hours 5 minutes. I genuinely believe that with some solid driver updates this device would be perfect but for now I have a few little irritations hence the 4 stars. It’s incredible, right? On the recently released Metal Hellsinger we are running on the Medium graphics settings and are hovering around the 60 frames per second area. There were some occasional dips but nothing that affected the gameplay. Lower settings help keep it stable, or you can limit to 30 and crank the graphics up higher. Ughhh the device can be a bit frustrating. The build quality is not great (I have wonky loose power button), the keyboard sometimes has a mind of its own but gets the job done and the most annoying thing of all is the fact that the controller if the device sleeps, doesn’t wake with it. This results in either having to constantly hibernate the device and or restart it each time you want to play. Next in our GPD WIN MAX 2 review, some gameplay tests! For these we are running at a balanced 28W TDP at 800P with playable or as close to playable settings as we can.
