About this deal

Enters Det. Robert Hunter - nice surname by the way!!! - of a special unit investigating violent crimes. Like most detectives in literature he also experienced some personal tragedies which scarred his psyche, but unlike some of them he did not seek refuge and solace in the bottle though.

I also liked the character of Whitney Myers and the factors that led her to become what she later became. I don't want to include any spoilers in case you ever give it a try. This story has the added point of departure of having a Mob enforcer as one of the loved ones. He then also engages in hunting down the killer in a Liam Neeson ‘Taken’ manner - I will find you and rip out your heart and feed it to the rats😁 Tikrai daug visko įpinta į šią istoriją ir džiaugiuosi, jog autorius pasirinko būtent tokią temą. Apie tai yra tiesiog būtina kalbėti ir net neabejoju, jog ši pronlema yra išlikusi ir šiomis dienomis. It was also released by the Simon and Schuster publishers in the year 2010. The main plot of this book features the lead characters in the form of Robert Hunter, Claire Anderson, Ian Hopkins, Barbara Blake, Carlos Garcia, Jonathan Winston, and Mike Brindle, etc. Now whilst each of these books can be read as a standalone novel, there is a story underneath it all. With this one, I found myself wanting to see more for Hunter on the relationship front. He’s a wonderful character and I believe I’ve reached the point where I want to see him happy, and certain events in this book left me hoping that there will be happiness for him in the future.

It was released by the Simon and Schuster publishers, The United Kingdom, in the year 2009. All the books in the series feature the central character in the form of Robert Hunter, who is described by the author as a Homicide Detective in Los Angeles. At the start of the book, it is shown that the dead body of a woman is found in an abandoned cottage in the National Forest in Los Angeles.

Neilgai trukus randama ir antroji auka. Nužudymo braižas nors ir skiriasi, tačiau abejoti tikrai nėra kuo. Tai to paties nusikaltėlio darbas. Even though it was a good story I felt like something was missing in this one. Happy though to follow another investigation with Robert Hunter and Carlos Garcia but something from their previous banter that made me smile in the first books is missing and they are focusing in more serious issues while discussing over a good scotch. Their professional and personal relationship in developing along with every new story and even though they are different at some aspects they are similar as well and have good chemistry while working. A wonderful detective duo. I also liked the addition of Alice in The death sculptor but I guess it will be short lived since our main character is a loner at least for now...?

Vos po kelių dienų randama dar viena auka. Taip pat su užsiūta burna bei intymia vieta.. Robertas Hanteris turėdamas patirties su įvairaus plauko nusikaltėliais jaučia, jog tai dar tik pradžia.. For Hunter, there is no doubt that the killer is trying to communicate with the police, but the method is unlike anything he’s ever seen before. And what could the hidden message be? My misinformed state was fixed when my Kindle decided to have a temper tantrum. Sadly, my Kindle is known to misbehave. Fortunately, through trying to get my Kindle working again I stumbled upon The Hunter sitting buried in my Kindle library. Joy ensued. A lot of joy, in fact. The excitement I had felt in the past whenever I thought about this short story was doubled when I realised I owned it. Aware of how often I find myself buried under advance reads, I jumped straight into The Hunter.Wilson was standing inside Captain William Bolter’s office, staring at the piece of paper the captain had just handed him. But, it was quite unbelievable because the Crucifix Killer was arrested and executed around a couple of years go. The police as well as Robert Hunter begins to think whether someone else is trying to copy the killing styles of the Crucifix Killer or he is still away from the reach of them. What are you complaining about?’ he said, returning to his seat behind his large and very messy desk. ‘I thought you all liked easy cases.’ He nodded at the piece of paper in Wilson’s hands. ‘They don’t come much easier than that. The woman sliced her wrists and bled to death in her bed. It’s an open-and-shut case.’ I love Garcia's relationship with his wife Anna and this time after the last books she was more involved and present in the story and to be honest I would like that kind of relationship for Hunter too since the author after five books made me care enough for him that I want some happiness and stability for him also.

A serial killer is at work. Not just any serial killer, but one that puts the power and choices in the hands of the public. Broadcasting live on the internet, this serial killer asks the general public to vote on which more horrific manner of death they want a total stranger to undergo. And vote they do. Human beings voting to see a horrific death. I was born in Brasilia, Brazil where I spent my childhood and teenage years. After graduating from high school, I moved to the USA where I studied psychology with specialization in criminal behaviour. During my University years I held a variety of odd jobs, ranging from flipping burgers to being part of an all male exotic dancing group. Hunter & Garcia cannot work out what the killer is telling them the deeper they go they find another woman dead, the motive is the same stitched up & this time the medical examiner found a knife in the women's body, Hunter & Garcia felt a pattern emerging & this time the killer left a message He's INSIDE YOU!!! what this means they don't know.Do you believe the Devil exists, Detective?’ the officer at the end of the line asks. ‘Because if you don’t… I’m sure you will once you get here.’
