About this deal

These have a wavy, ratchet sort of construction and are held in place with a quick-release lever, which we’ll talk about later. The Next Level Racing® Hubs provide various angle adjustments to ensure the user gets the most comfortable racing position. We tested a Logitech G29 and Thrustmaster T-GT ii with this seat and both wheels attached in a broadly similar way, with two screws (supplied with the chair) threaded through a thick metal plate connected to a horizontal bar that hinges open like a barn door. As for the comfort during the use, it’s as comfy as something like this can be, I didn’t experience any strain issues, albeit I was having sessions for up to 2 hours long at the time, but still. Not many racing simulators allow for a quick and effortless switch between GT and Formula racing styles.

Given its feature set, performance, and competitive pricing, the Next Level Racing F-GT Lite offers solid value for money. With a bit of practice though neither of these things is an issue anymore, and I can unfold the seat and be ready to go in under a minute. Constructed with the highest-grade powder coated carbon steel, the f-gt Lite ensures long term durability. As a result of its minimalist design, F-GT Lite is the perfect cockpit for any user with limited space.

Not only does it withstand twisting force feedback movements but telegraphs vibrations from the track surface straight into the seat base and pedalboard, without any annoying rattles or buzzes. If you want something that folds up but doesn’t completely lose the sturdiness of a permanent rig, the F-GT Lite is a solid contender. It successfully delivers on its promise of an immersive, adaptable, and realistic racing experience without breaking the bank. I also used to fold it up slightly differently every time, with some configurations not fitting in the space it had previously. The Next Level Racing® F-GT Lite/GT Lite Flight Pack is engineered and designed to be installed in a matter of minutes to the F-GT Lite and GT Lite Cockpit. So, the rig in question is the Next Level Racing F-GT Lite, some of you maybe come across this model looking for a narrative to Playseat’s Challenge.

The Next Level Racing® Hubs allows for different angle adjustability to ensure that the user is getting the most comfortable racing position. With the new Next Level Racing® F-GT Lite/GTLite Flight Pack, users can transform their GTLite and F-GT Lite racing cockpit into a flight solution with ease.

Next Level Racing’s rig is made from breathable fabric (the whole back section is vented) suspended between tough metal tubes, which in turn hinge through plastic hubs that the maker says are strong enough to withstand 150kg each. We used a Logitech G29 and Thrustmaster T-GT ii to see whether it could withstand a strong force feedback wheel. CHOOSE BETWEEN GT AND FORMULAThe Next Level Racing Hubs allow for quick and easy adjustments enabling users to switch between GT and Formula racing positions with ease.To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Despite offering a complete racing cockpit experience, the F-GT Lite is fully foldable, making it highly convenient for storage or transport. The F-GT Lite is compatible with all major wheels and pedals and can be used with Logitech®, Thrustmaster®, Fanatec®, and clamp-on chassis. This is why I don’t use the opening that often, but I rather just slip in, which is not a problem at all, although it’s really practical to have something like this, especially if you don’t have a shifter on the right side.
