About this deal

In "Demon Dentist," David Walliams unravels a spine-chilling tale that will leave readers gripping the edge of their seats. Brace yourselves to face the monstrous dentist resolute on tormenting the unsuspecting town with dark secrets tied to their oral health. I love reading books with Erin. Us reading our bedtime story is my favourite part of the day. This book was really funny and had us laughing out loud in places. Even Raj makes an appearance! I really enjoyed it and seeing Erin enjoy a book makes me so happy.

This was such a cute story and I loved the messages in this. They included trying to normalise people's differences, promoting that we all look different and that's a marvelous thing! Sir Basil Basildon is the incredibly grand owner of the zoo. He always wears a safari suit with a cravat. But a nice short story nonetheless. Easy and fast to read. There are lots of fascinating animals included as well, both familiar and rarely heard of, and the illustrations are lovely. I actually wondered if there is really something as blobfish, and surprisingly, there is! In this heartwarming and whimsical tale, bestselling author David Walliams takes readers on an unforgettable adventure alongside a courageous young girl named Elsie and her remarkable friendship with a mysterious Ice Monster. With laughter, tears, and extraordinary quests, this enchanting book will captivate readers of all ages. This book had a great premise but unfortunately didn’t quite reach its potential. Shave off some of the WALLOPS and DOLLOPS of onomatopoeia, toilet humour and a few of the superfluous characters and focus on the strengths; namely the mythology, family ties and Alfred’s own epiphanies and this book would be a winner. Between the years 1989 and 1992, author David studied at the Bristol University. During that time, he used to reside at the Manor Hall and later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama in the year 1992. It was during the university holidays in the year 1990 that David met with his future comedy partner named Matt Lucas while performing at the National Youth Theater. This was a beautiful tonic to end another day at work. Mr Walliams knows how to make one snort and giggle with his take on the zoo and school bullies. Soon, someone comes into his life, who appreciates Joe for being himself and not because of his money. But still a problem exists as Joe is about to learn that as soon as money gets involved, nothing remains as it used to be. Joe has always heard his elders, saying that the best things in life always come for free, but if he does care about them, he is definitely going to all of them. I read the book as I had read odd chapters at bedtime with my daughter but couldn’t quite get the story so told her that I would read it when she had finished it. I’m good for my word!

Good for you, Mr Bob!” exclaimed the zookeeper. “I bet those would really like a visit. They so often get ignored. Now run along, Mr Bob, before the owner, Sir Basil Basildon, spots you.” As well as his Children’s fiction, David has also published four number one bestselling picture books, his latest, The Bear Who went Boo! was published in November 2015 and has had total sales of over 85,000 to date. The Queen’s Orang-utan, David’s third picture book was written exclusively for Comic Relief with David giving all of his proceeds from the book to the charity. Ben even believes that his grandmother does not anything other than playing Scrabble and eating cabbage soup. However, there are several things that she has hidden from him and the rest of the world. Ben’s grandmother once used to be an international jewel thief. Bob is a ten-year-old boy who lives in a tiny flat with his grandpa. Bob has been told he has a funny face.

Armistice Day: A Collection of Remembrance - Spark Interest and Educate Children about Historical Moments I didn't like the Audible version very much, the music used as bookends to chapters was annoying, a little 80s computer-sounding, and I think I'd have preferred to read an illustrated paper copy. I did find myself tuning out a few times, which I try very hard not to do. As well as being a No.1 best-selling Children’s author, David Walliams is one of Britain's most popular writers and comic actors.

But Bob didn’t like it one bit. Sometimes he thought having a funny face was the worst thing in the world. David Walliams and Tony Ross assert the moral right to be identified as the author and illustrator of this work.

Hello Yellow - 80 Books to Help Children Nurture Good Mental Health and Support With Anxiety and Wellbeing - David Walliams is fast becoming a global phenomenon in the world of children’s literature – his ability to wow fans is unprecedented with global sales over 14.1 million. But Bob just walked on by. He was much more interested in seeing the animals in the zoo who had no visitors crowding around them. These were the ones who many people thought were ugly. They were certainly odd-looking, and Bob found them fascinating. These were the ones he always loved visiting on his birthday trips to the zoo with Grandpa. There was:
