About this deal

With Us or Against Us: As part of his sob story, Blurr claims that he doesn't really like or believe in the Autobot cause, but he has to wear the sigil because there's no such thing as a neutral. You're either an Autobot, or you're scrap.

Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Despite Flareup's defection to the Decepticons and renaming as Flamewar, primarily to save herself from aiding Ultra Magnus's failed coup attempt, Slipstream prefers to keep her at a distance. Still plagued by self-confidence issues however, Ultra Magnus did not believe he could lead the Autobots as himself, instead conspiring to steal Optimus's body. Shattered Glass II #5 After being repaired, Optimus was brought to Metroplex, Shattered Glass II #4 where his spark was extracted and placed in Magnus's body. Having his leg cut off and his voice box disabled, Optimus was left to impotently scream, a state in which he was found by Soundwave and Slicer. Shattered Glass II #5 Accessories: blaster, 2 missile launchers, 7 armor/car carrier pieces, Energon sword, Energon axe (combines to form Terminus Blade), Matrix of Leadership, alternate head In the aftermath, Rodimus was reported to have fled to the Skuxxoid Cluster, a hiding place that Galvatron noted was rather in character for him. Shattered Glass Animated Optimus Prime's Tech Spec, along with a handful of other surprises, were seen only on BotCon 2011's exclusive lithograph posters.

In the present day, Rodimus promised that his assassins would take down Optimus Prime at the same time Alpha Trion's agents took down Megatron, thus paving the way for their own conquering. Reunification: Part 3 Ascended Extra: The character roster is shuffled around compared to the original Shattered Glass continuity. Jetfire gains a much more significant role in this continuity, complete with a toy, while he was a very minor Autobot agent in the Fun Publication stories. They were successful, as the gestalt members' ministrations resulted in both them being reborn as Nexus Prime, and Megatron being resurrected as Galvatron. The two went out to face down Omega Doom, who had arrived outside of the Decepticon base.Ratchet's Autotrooper body is based on Combiner Wars Deluxe Class Offroad/ Trailbreaker with a Hoist-style head. As he later received repairs from Mixmaster and Scavenger, Galvatron told Nexus Prime he respected the gestalt's choice to leave, and gave him use of the stellar spanner they had retrieved from Alpha Trion's laboratory. Reunification: Part 6 The Coming Storm: Part 1 Beginning after the conclusion of the War for Cybertron Trilogy toyline, Transformers Generations: Legacy (aka Transformers: Legacy) features characters from across the wealth of different Transformers continuities, making it a celebration of the entire Transformers series, as opposed to the predominantly-" Generation 1" oriented character selection of the Generations line for the past 6 years. While being interviewed, Optimus spoke of his 'bot Sentinel Prime and his views on organics. He then expressed his desire to escape his subjugation at the hands of Isaac Sumdac, and to crush Megatron and his absurdly loyal second-in-command. In IDW Publishing's Shattered Glass #5, Ultra Magnus is drawn as a straight recoloring of Siege Leader Class Ultra Magnus. Evidently, plans for the Kingdom-styled Ultra Magnus toy in Shattered Glass Collection had not been finalized at the time of writing. The MDLX Shattered Glass Optimus Prime accessories include a total of six pairs of interchangeable hands, including two pairs of gesture hands, one pair of fists, one pair of Energon Axe holding hands, one pair of holding Ion Blaster hands, and one pair of holding “Matrix of Leadership” holding hands. The weapon designs are intricately detailed, featuring a metallic silver Ion Blaster and an Energon Axe with fluorescent green blade edges. Additionally, the set includes the “Matrix of Leadership” which can be inserted into MDLX Shattered Glass Optimus Prime’s chest. Evil Former Friend: Megatron and Orion Pax/Optimus Prime. They used to fight for equality together, but Orion's own desire for power eventually caused him to betray Megatron and undermine the entire Decepticon-cause.

MDLX Shattered Glass Optimus Prime has been redesigned by threezero, taking inspiration from the original G1 Transformers animated series. It boasts stunning detail, with threezero’s renowned weathered paint technique. The upper body is coated in metallic purple and silver, while the lower body features a dominant metallic blue tone, and his head features sinister dark red optics. The mechanical patterns on each joint are sharply defined with expert sculpt work. The detail on his transparent chest window includes the signature shattered glass, portraying the fierce and menacing nature of MDLX Shattered Glass Optimus Prime. While working on his Transhuman subjects, Side Burn cautioned them that they didn't want Ratchet working on their upgrades. The Autobot medic had a habit of getting...experimental with his patients. Coalescence

Class participants who finished creating their toy in-class were given an exclusive Enigma of Combination accessory that can be either held by Ratchet/Medix or fit into Ultra Prime or Optimus Maximus's chest. For 2015, the line was given another subline imprint titled Transformers Generations: Combiner Wars, which saw Deluxe, Voyager, and some Legends figures able to form combiner robots. The format for Legends Class was changed once again, dropping the small partner figures of the Thrilling 30 line.

Demonization: In a twist of the original series' set-up, it's the Autobot government doing this to the Decepticons, portraying them as Ax-Crazy Bomb-Throwing Anarchists who seek Cybertron's destruction by tearing down the caste system to the general populace. The very name 'Decepticon' is basically a slur, made up of the words Con (Constructed) and deception/deceitful. The Decepticons chose to wear the name as a badge of honor, because if speaking truth is deception, they're gladly guilty.
