About this deal

Remember how I mentioned Aubrey’s mom is Native American and never used that piece of information again? he did everything so he could get her her revenge on her dad but did anyone ask her what she wanted? I can always count on Shain to produce a quick, intensely emotion romance that doesn’t shy away from the difficulties and realities of life. The FMC doesn’t visit her father but the MMC does and the father I think threatens him with something so he leaves the FMC while she is sleeping to go live somewhere else (can’t remember where). The MMC goes and saves the FMC but does not have a lot of time to save the FMC’s mother and so the mother dies.

Next follows a series is lies and secrets that nearly blow their lives up for a second time, but just as the title says, these 2 really were Inevitable! Too sensitive to breathe and get is having casual sex with a dude for anywhere from four years to one year to one night it's unclear. She thought she was tough but didn't know the first thing about how to be a grown up and stand on her own two feet. I spent years getting over him and now he's back—the nation's most streamed artist and eligible bachelor. He claimed he loved her his whole life but he truly didn't know how to treat her and he never really shared his love with Audrey until he was in the mood and was good and ready.

Fall for a man who deliberately gave her misleading signals and dropped her like she has the plague and we’re supposed to be swooned by it? This whole plot with Frank really just read as a way to create a more high stakes/dramatic scape for Jax and Aubrey to maneuver through and it felt unnecessary and again, flimsy.Because I need to know how long it’s going to take me to erase every time you were with him from your memory. I felt like Aubrey’s internal dialogue was recycled too much and Jax kept saying the same thing over and over again – she was his, they were inevitable.

I’ve read many books where couples reconnect after a trauma bond that needed to be severed, and this wasn’t it. Years later, Jax is reluctantly back in Aubrey’s life and the two struggle to fine their new normal. Here, you'll discover not just the publication year, which is essential for understanding the context and evolution of the series, but also a succinct summary that teases the story without spoiling any surprises. Ik he can’t explain the her dad thing yet but idk why he’s surprised she keeps pushing him away when she was clearly broken by him leaving (and for good reason). The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal.

You really feel like a part of this world, feel the pain of the characters and the bonds that have been made, and that is an absolute talent. The FMC and MMC ends up being traumatised by the incident and starts up a relationship (might’ve been sexual). Ultimately this book defines almost, I almost enjoyed it, I almost was invested, almost but not quite. The example that comes to mind is her desire to stay out of the spotlight and shy away from attention, which is stated early on in the story but isn’t justified/explained until later. Inevitable is the first story in the Stonewood Brothers series, and I definitely CANNOT wait for more!
