Build quality is that which you can expect from low-priced headphones, so it’s not exceptional, but it’s still quite good for the price. There’s no creaking whatsoever while wearing the headphones, but there is some if you bend the headband sideways with some force. We decided to review and test the OneOdio A Series by comparing the various features on offer as well as important factors like comfort, design, usability, reliability and connectivity. None whatsoever. When watching videos, the audio is perfectly in sync, regardless of what operating system you use. Please note that this is an ‘over ear’ pair of headphones which the vast majority of people prefer, not ‘on ear’ where the earcups are sitting on top of your ears, not covering them. There’s an old adage when it comes to buying headphones: affordability, sound quality, bells and whistles – choose any two.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
I am notoriously bad at judging comfort due to my overly sensitive scalp, but I find the A10 to be quite uncomfortable due to the headband having very little padding. While the earpads are fine, if a bit warm, the headband definitely would enjoy a bit more padding. As far as wearing comfort is concerned, the pillowy protein leather earpads and padding at the top of the headband makes them pretty nice to wear, especially since the clamping force is pretty low. The OneOdio A30 build feels a bit cheaper, with minor rattling noises and hollow-sounding plastic. At least the metal inside the headband provides some additional sturdiness.
Having both wired and wireless functionality is always appreciated, for those times when you leave home only to realise that you've forgotten to charge the headphones; for those long trips away from civilisation when battery life might not be sufficient; or simply to enjoy the best sound possible. A wired connection still trumps Bluetooth audio and will probably continue to best it for quite some time. When you've got big-sounding, punchy, clear 40mm drivers capable of satisfactorily reproducing Hi-Res Audio, as you have with these A10s, you might well opt to listen wired more often.The timbre is on the colder side of natural, and this works well with most music styles, especially electronic 80's & 90's from the likes of Tears for Fears and Seal. Switching ANC on/off doesn't have a huge impact on the sound in the way we often see it tightening the sound up on TWS. Using the headphones in wired over wireless gives you the benefit of Hi-Res Audio, and for me I did notice an upturn in the sound when plugging a cable in. Everything feels a little tighter, and the volume seems a little quieter, so you may have to crank it up a little louder. The A30 have a surprisingly great call quality, a decent array of commands, and active noise cancellation (ANC), all for a budget price.
It retains control and speed, but it’s much quieter. You can still hear some rumble, but only when you truly focus on what you’re listening to. Midrange However, the dip in the mids makes them sound a little thin. Plus, the roll-off in the upper highs removes a lot of air, making things sound a little closed in, which isn’t out of the ordinary at this price. The OneOdio A10 headphones also have a best-in-class ambient listening mode. This allows you to hear your surroundings while still enjoying your music. This is perfect for when you're travelling and want to be aware of your surroundings, such as in trains, flights, metros, and other public spaces. You can flip between ambient and noise-cancelling modes with one button. Headphones use basic SBC and more Apple-friendly AAC Bluetooth codecs. You can’t really expect more than that at this price point, as it would only add to the cost. Is There an Audio Lag?

On the first round of battery life, I've used around 15 hours playtime and lots of calls, and I'm still at 60%, so the 40 hour mark seems an accurate representation so far. The A70 offer only basic Bluetooth features and they don’t have more advanced stuff like voice assistant compatibility.
You must manually switch between a laptop and a phone to answer a call. What Bluetooth Codecs Do They Use? The 2300 chipset allows for support of AAC and SBC - there's no LDAC support sadly, but it's possible to meet the Hi-Res Standard (as we mentioned previously) by using the headphones in wired mode.
Design
For me, the A10 are a pleasant listen, with good detail and adequate resolution - it's a shame there's no app for users to tweak the sound to their own personal preference, and hopefully this will come in time, at least for iPhone users who don't have the benefit of Wavelet to call upon. OneOdio's 'Hybrid Active' technology allows total immersion to keep your audio enjoyment free of distraction, but can also be easily turned on and off with a simple press of a button on the earphones, so you can bring in more of the outside world as necessary. OneOdio calls such lighter ANC modes 'Talk-in through technology' and 'Ambient Listening Mode', which effectively means your voice comes across clearer on voice and video calls and you can still monitor the sounds of the outside world, respectively. Going into the more positive side, earpads use soft pleather with tight stitching that doesn’t seem cheap. The fit is very comfortable and the look is very subtle as far as over-ears go - I found myself only making occasional micro-adjustments, and the low clamping force means your ears won't get too sweaty, which is always a big bonus, but on the flip side it can occasionally result in some sound leakage, and comfort is optimised over noise reduction. It means that the A10 are better suited to casual listening and the daily commute over exercise, where excessive motion can result in the headphones moving around quite a bit - you'll be fine with a dash to make the train, but I wouldn't run 10km in them. They’re comfortable enough for daily use, have good active noise cancelling performance, more than adequate battery capacity, and excellent microphone quality.
