This is the 3rd set I’ve purchased to add onto the original set we got which has held up against 4 extremely active boys! Includes 100 plastic connecting 2-cm cubes in 10 colors, 5 activity cards, and plastic storage box WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD — Small parts.
Each cube features five different geometric shapes on five of the sides: circle, square, triangle, pentagon and hexagon. Indents have geometric shapes cut out on four of the six sides: triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon.There is another brand similar that is a softer plastic material that I feel for tactile and sensory reasons may be a better alternative for a little fingers to manipulate. An additional feature is the geometric shape cut outs which do not limit linking ability but can be brought into play for more complex sorting/classification activities. Five of the sides feature a different geometric shape, providing a challenging canvas for construction, art, and math activities. Count and learn with MathLink Cubes in the classroom and at home, and help young children build number sense.
