About this deal

The Squier Affinity Stratocaster is a solid-body electric guitar made of alder in that Stratocaster shape many, and even you could copy. This HSS configuration can give you a little bit more versatility and a bit more power necessary for grittier genres. A Squire Bullet series Stratocaster is the most affordable way to own a genuine Strat. They’re one of our best-selling starter guitars and perfect for guitarists who want a quality guitar on a tight budget. Many of these models feature an easy-to-maintain hardtail bridge and position inlays so you can easily navigate the Indian Laurel fretboard. Squier Affinity Stratocaster

The Squier Stratocaster is one of the most popular electric guitars ever made. It was originally designed as an entry point for beginner guitarists to learn on. Since then, the Squier Strat has gone on to become a legitimate Strat in its own right. Featuring quality components and built to a high standard, they offer excellent value for money. The overall build of this Bullet Strat was fine. No loose pieces or rattling bolts or any obvious construction flaws. A few rough or uneven frets, but nothing major. It features a 25.5″ scale length, which affects how the guitar sounds, and in this case, the 25.5″ scale length caters to more contemporary music like metal. While Squier is owned by Fender - and they both make near identical instruments - the companies are separated by a few different factors.Further investigation by Guitar Player revealed that Prior had done a bit more tweaking of Rutherford's Squiers than the guitarist let on, but still left them – to a greater extent than one would expect – largely factory standard. One thing I’d change about the Bullet Strat is its nut, which already looks like it’s about to break.

A Squier Stratocaster is the most affordable way to experience the iconic electric guitar’s crisp, articulate tone, inviting playability and sleek retro-futuristic looks. Fender created this guitar when they realized there was a need for budget-friendly Stratocasters for beginners. Stratocaster guitars have existed since the mid-’50s. Fender debuted these instruments right after the Telecaster model. For one, Bullet Strats have slightly thinner bodies than standard Stratocasters. It’s a really small difference of only a few millimeters, but it makes the Bullet a lighter guitar. More so, it’s quite common today to find budget Squier guitars that perform just as good as a Fender selling for three times its price. If not better. Which one of these two series is better depends entirely on you. The Affinity is the better guitar, but it also costs more. In terms of value, they are basically equal. If you’re looking for your very first electric, it makes a great beginner guitar. Even if you’ve got years of experience, you can still have a good time with it, especially if you’re a Fender fan. However, because it has three single-coils, I wouldn’t recommend this guitar for genres requiring much distortion like heavy metal. Instead, you can couple this guitar with a budget overdrive pedal and see amazing results.

Sure, the Standard Die-Cast tuning machines could be better (you won’t stay in tune forever, especially when using the tremolo bar). But I’d say they’re more stable than many guitars at this price. The Affinity Stratocaster has a fingerboard made of Indian laurel — which is similar to rosewood though not as expensive, with twenty-one medium jumbo frets and period dot inlays that are easy for studying bending and bar chords. This assembly-line style manufacturing is still how Squier guitars are made today, and for the most part that’s no problem. It’s just important for me to say that the Bullet Strat isn’t for everyone—especially if you care a lot about your guitar’s build quality like I do. It uses lower cost components and materials, but retains the Fender Stratocaster look and feel. For the price, what you get is amazing. Also, children won’t notice any difference between the sound of quality guitars and the sound of budget guitars. What’s important to them is how it looks, how easy they are to play, and how much the guitar weighs on their shoulders. And the Fender-designed Bullet guitars hit all of these boxes. The Squier Bullet Stratocaster runs a die-cast tuner inspired by Fender Stratocaster’s original tuners. This is a slightly more complex tuner than you’ll find on other beginner guitars, but once you’ve gotten used to it works great and it does hold tune really well –better than some of my more expensive guitars, in fact. If you just want to see what it’s like to play a Stratocaster but need to keep costs low, this is a great option. The Bullet Strat HSS is a pretty versatile axe that gives decent tones considering its price. I invite you to read the comment section if you’re not convinced! The Squier Bullet Series review: are these guitars any good?

It’s made of “synthetic bone” which is actually a plastic called melamine . You shouldn’t confuse this synthetic bone with the higher-quality Bone or NuBone nuts. It’s really just a basic hard plastic used in making kitchenware, flooring, whiteboards , and obviously guitar nuts. It’s comfortable to play for beginners, but if you’re planning to play shows anytime soon you might want a better guitar. It sounds and plays good for the cost, though it’s definitely not a professional guitar. Fender Squier built the Bullet Stratocaster with beginners in mind. Hence, this is an affordable, versatile, light, simple, and stylish instrument. The Affinity features the asymmetrical cutaway that most Stratocaster has, helping you reach higher notes easily.
