About this deal
Like a bunch of wet, colorful bathing suits, and party cups full of margarita, festooned on a dry, sun-bleached log. However I wore this so much in middle school, high school, and even freshman year of college that I am sick of this smell. So clean, so nice for almost any occasion, and as others have noted, definitely discouraging to airborne insects. It always made me feel like I look good and my friends were always asking what perfume I was wearing.
But you can push tackiness to the point it becomes almost high art, which I suppose the VS line did a long time ago.Seriously, it is so much a glass-half-full sort of scent that wearing it just makes me feel optimistic, hopeful, and recharged. I blind bought this in the travel bottle edition for my honeymoon as I read of a University study that found it doubles as a mosquito repellent and wanted to smell nice whilst keeping the bugs away from me on holiday and not just stinking of DEET. i wish VS would do a mild reformulating, because i'd probably use the hell out of it, if it lasted better. the first time I smelled it was in the van nuys budweiser factory tour that my dad dragged me to along with our family friends.

It had fantastic sillage when sprayed liberally, especially since I was constantly respraying the mist every 3 hours or so to cool down and refresh myself. There’s a dry, woody base note that’s faintly noticeable, mainly because, for an hour or so, it feels quite separate from the bright, juicy top and mid-notes. Edit: it isnt just the drydown, the scent smells like men shaving products even when you smell it in the bottle!
