About this deal

We celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stories, traditions and living cultures; and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. When Hallie goes to the app to find someone, she finds Jack, the man with who she spent a one-night stand that made up her mind to change herself. It was also easy to read and get into since it flowed nicely, the plot was engaging, and the page count wasn’t overly long.

Scorsese and DiCaprio have teamed up on several films since their first collaboration on Gangs of New York in 2002. The line between friends and lovers starts to blur after Hallie enlists Jack to be her “fake” date to her sister’s wedding. The actor-director team have worked together numerous times over the last 20 years, beginning with Gangs of New York, then on The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, and, most recently, The Wolf of Wall Street. We honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' continuous connection to Country, waters, skies and communities. The story involves tales of survival in a brutal Patagonian winter, chasing Spanish treasure, mutiny, and, no doubt, a lot of men batting around terms like “gunwale,” “leeward,” “fo’c’sle,” and “mizzenmast.

Because as they pretend to be a couple, they struggle to remember why dating for real was a bad idea to begin with. Killers of the Flower Moon marked the first collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio since 2013's The Wolf of Wall Street. Hot on the heels of that production, the duo are going to team up to tackle an adaptation of David Grann's upcoming nonfiction book, The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder, which is not expected to hit shelves until April next year. The upcoming Apple Studios film is based on Grann's 2017 bestseller that tells the story of a federal law enforcement agency, the precursor to the FBI, as it investigates the murder of the Osage Nation Native Americans living in oil-rich Oklahoma in the 1920s. That initial project was followed by The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Killers of the Flower Moon, which is also based on a non-fiction book by Grann.

I devoured it on a plane (the day Midnights released so it's all just a pastel haze of happiness for me) back in October, and I still think about Dominic ALL. But when she logs into the dating app to look for new love, she finds none other than Jack: the guy whose hotel room she'd snuck out of. She gets a new apartment, a new haircut, and a new wardrobe, but when she logs into the dating app that she has determined will find her new love, she sees none other than Jack, the guy whose room she’d snuck out of. On a slight downside, a fair amount of the plot was set at a wedding (Jack and Hallie meet at Olivia’s wedding and Jack and Hallie’s “fake” relationship takes place at Hallie’s sister’s wedding); so, if you’re not a fan of weddings, then The Love Wager might not be for you. There's no word yet on who will pen the screenplay for The Wager, but Dan Friedkin and Bradley Thomas are set to produce for Imperative Entertainment, along with Scorsese for Sikelia Productions, and DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson via their Appian Way Productions, while Richard Plepler of Eden Productions is attached to executive produce the film adaptation.

Wrong Number, but can also be read as a standalone, and it’s a delightful contemporary rom-com told from a dual point of view. I think I DM'd the author WHILE I was reading that it should be marketed as "Emily Henry BUT GAY" and I still stand by that. Ivana Marie Zelníčková escaped from behind the Iron Curtain to storm New York City and help create the twisted miracle of Donald Trump. Wrong Number with an equally cute friends to lovers romance…Their equally filthy sense of humor makes their connection feel real and their game of constant one-upmanship is a lot of fun.Two people make a wager on who can find love first, not realizing what they should be betting on is each other, in this new romantic comedy by Lynn Painter, New York Times bestselling author of Mr. After belly-crawling out of a hotel room (hello, rock bottom), she decides it’s time to become a full-on adult. Indeed, other than the ending of Cape Fear, he’s tended to stick to dry land—even if Manhattan is an island. She has girlfriends, boy problems, a dad who really tries but really kinda fails, and her childhood crush has recently moved back to town. I was skeptical because usually when a romance is that short, the plot and romantic elements usually feel rushed.
