About this deal

If this is not the color you need please check my other listings for the colors that best suit your projects. We take intellectual property concerns very seriously, but many of these problems can be resolved directly by the parties involved. Rub n Buff makes surface decorating fast, fun and easy - your friends will think you spent hours on it! Now that I’ve stumbled on your blog, I realize there are other colors that would have worked better. Rub'n Buff is a wax base metallic finish that is formulated from imported carnauba waxes, fine metallic powders and select pigments.

If you don’t have any handy, I love this inexpensive brush set and use it for makeup, but the stiffer large brushes will work for this project. If you’ve already done that, your item hasn’t arrived, or it’s not as described, you can report that to Etsy by opening a case.

Easy to apply - just rub onto any surface with finger or soft cloth, then buff to a beautiful lustre.Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.

It has a lot of pinkness to it and I wouldn’t use it at all if I were wanting something to appear gold. Rub onto clean, dry, or previously painted surfaces or on post-fired ceramics with a gloved finger or soft cloth, then gently buff to a beautiful luster. I definitely plan on using Grecian Gold on a wall hook I got at Target that has a faded champagne gold tone, picture frames, drawer pulls, planters, a brass lamp that’s starting to turn dark, a piano / library lamp that has a too-shiny bright yellow gold look to it, and who knows what else I’ll come up with! I hope this post was helpful if you’ve been wanting an easy and inexpensive way to antique almost anything. Since I wanted the look of antique brass, I first purchased Antique Brass Rub n Buff (makes sense, right? The smooth painted wood was by far the easiest to do and looked best when done, the raw wood absorbed it and required more product per coat, and on the plastic I thought it might not stick but once it dried it adhered well. I discovered Rub ‘n Buff last year and instantly fell in love with it after testing it out on some knobs and hooks. However, my main frustration with Rub n Buff is that you really can’t tell the color it will appear based on the packaging.
